SUMMER BASEBALL 2025
TBALL DIVISION -- Ages 4 and 5 This division is intended to teach the fundamentals of baseball. There will be one practice per week and one game per week on Saturdays.
Notes:
- Players hit from a tee
- Score is not kept during games
- A half-inning concludes when:
- The batting team's players all hit, or
- The fielding team gets three outs
There is no batters box (circle). Batter can only swing the bat at the plate.(Registration is for players born between 9/1/19 and 8/31/2021) Fee $199.

COACH PITCH DIVISION — Ages 6 and 7 (Registration is for players born between 9/1/2017 and 8/31/2019).
Description: This division is intended to be more like “real baseball” (i.e. three strikes are an out, and three outs end an inning). There will be one practice per week and one game per week on Saturdays.Postseason play includes a league tournament.
Notes:
Players will receive pitches from a designated offensive coachEach batter will receive five (5) pitches from a designated offensive coach. After five unsuccessful attempts or three strikes, the batter is out.One designated defensive coach (preferably the manager) will call defensive outsThere will be no umpires. The final say on rules questions will be the home team scorekeeper (See the Little League Rule Book and supplemental rules for guidance)The designated defensive and offensive coach responsibilities will switch after each half-inning There is no batters box (circle). Dry Creek STRONGLY DISCOURAGES aggressive base running at this age level.
Registration is for players born between 9/1/2017 and 8/31/2019. The non-refundable registration fee is $222.00
MINOR MODIFIED PLAYER PITCH DIVISION -- Age range: Ages 8 and 9 (Registration is for players born between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017)
Description: Progressing to this division means players will be pitching, often for the first time, aided by a coach. Games are twice a week with one practice per week.
Umpires will be provided for this division. Postseason play includes a league tournament.
Notes:
- The designated pitcher player will pitch to the batter
- If after four (4) pitches are called "balls," the batting team’s coach will come in and pitch to the batter.
- Three strikes are an out, and three outs ends the inning.
- Managers/head coaches will receive supplemental rules for this division.

MAJOR DIVISION -- Ages 10 - 12 years old (Registration is for players born between 9/1/2012 and 8/31/2015 .
Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.)
(All players are guaranteed a roster spot but MUST participate in a preseason assessment. Players will be drafted, therefore we do not accept special requests for players to play with other players or specific teams)
Description: This division is a step up in competition and difficulty. ALL PLAYERS will be placed on a team, but they must participate in a preseason assessment. Players eligible for the Majors Division will be drafted by the managers/head coaches of the division.
Games are twice a week, during the week, which allows players to also play in tournaments on weekends. Once games start, there will be no more practices.
This division could interleague with teams from Cherry Creek Little League and Arapahoe Little League in Aurora and Ken Caryl Little League in Jefferson County.
Umpires will be provided for this division.
Postseason play includes a league tournament and All-Stars, which includes possibly one team for 10-year-olds, one team for 11-year-olds, and one team for 12-year-olds.
Notes:
- There are no lead-offs at this age.
- Players may only advance after the pitched ball crosses the plate. Read the Little League Rule Book for specifics (LINK)
- There are no supplemental rules. All rules can be found in the rule book.
- There is no batters box (circle). Batter can only swing the bat at the plate.
All-Star info:
It is an honor to be selected for these teams, and we ask you to treat a selection in that manner.
- Players must go through a separate assessment during the season to make the All-Star team
- All-Star teams will represent Dry Creek in Colorado Little League District 5 tournaments
- District tournaments most likely will start right after July 4
- Please plan any summer vacation or other activities accordingly if you believe your child could be selected for the All-Star Team
- Should any Dry Creek teams win at the district level, they will move on to state. After state is regionals.
- All tournaments are played shortly after the previous one

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION -- Ages 12 and 13 (Registration is for players born between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2013)
*** All players are guaranteed a roster spot, but they MUST participate in a preseason assessment. Players will be drafted, therefore, we do not accept special requests for players to play with other players or specific teams ***
Description: The Intermediate Division is a step up in competition and difficulty from the Majors Division. This division is for the more skilled 12-year-olds and all 13-year-olds.
ALL PLAYERS will be placed on a team, but they must participate in a preseason assessment. Players will be drafted by the managers/head coaches of the division. If the coaches and assessment team believe it is more beneficial for a 12-year-old to play in the Majors Division after assessments, we will put that player on a Majors team.
Games are twice a week, during the week, which allows players to also play in tournaments on weekends. Once games start, there will be no more practices.
This division could interleague with teams from Cherry Creek Little League and Arapahoe Little League in Aurora and Ken Caryl Little League in Jefferson County.
Umpires will be provided for this division.
Postseason play includes a league tournament and All-Stars, which includes possibly one team representing the Intermediates division.

- This division does have leadoffs.
- Games are played on a 70-foot basepath with a 50-foot pitching mound.
- There are no supplemental rules. All rules can be found in the Little League Rule Book (LINK).
