Calling all umpires: Dry Creek Baseball is hiring for the 2023 season

Maintaining consistent officiating over the past few seasons has been a struggle for our program, along with many others across the country.

With that in mind, Dry Creek Baseball will start its own “in-house” umpiring program. And we are looking for individuals willing to umpire across all our different divisions.

These umpiring roles require dedication and commitment. Our hope is to cut down on officials “no showing” for games, so if you agree to umpire for Dry Creek, we expect you to show up.

Depending on age and experience, we’re looking for umpires for our Majors, Minors, and Machine Pitch divisions.

Players (both current and former), parents, and adults looking to make a little extra money during the season are encouraged to apply. We can accommodate umpires aged 14 or 15 for Machine Pitch division games. Those looking to work Minors or Majors division games must be age 16 or older.

Those in high school looking to fulfill required community service, we can also work with you. And once you’ve completed your community service hours, the position would become paid.

Please note that all officials must pass a background check.
