4:00 - 5:00 -- Majors, 10 year Olds
5:00 - 6:00 -- 9 Year Olds, 8 Year Olds, 7 year Olds and TBall

Coaches Meeting -- April 23rd -- 7:00 p.m. -- Metrum Community Credit Union
Rosters and Uniform distribution

Opening Day -- May 4th -- Beginning at 1:00
Major Teams and 10 Year Old Teams with have a mini tournament -- More details to follow.  All other teams are invited to attend and enjoy the day.  The President will be cooking hotdogs.  There will be door prizes.  Water bottles will be distributed to all players who attend donated by Metrum Community Credit Union.  I am trying to get either a Rockie player or Donna Larovitch (Babe Ruth's granddaughter)to come for part of the celebration.  Donna has attended our tournaments in the past and she is a really interesting person.  She loves to talk to the players about her famous grandfather.

If any coach knows of any companies who would like to contribute door prizes, please contact me through email or by phone 303-290-9569.  We have a couple but would appreciate more contributions.


Starting date for the season
The Board also made a decision to start the regular season the week of May 12, 2008.  This means you will be on your own for practice before that date.  Our official permits start on May 12th.  There will be scheduled practices for teams after that date.

Picture Day
Picture Day will be June 8, with details to follow as the date approaches.

Email Addresses
Coaches please send your email address to the League Administrator.

Team Parents
We will need a Team Parent for each team this year. This person will be in charge of the fund raiser and communicating news to your team for us. Please appoint that person as soon as you have your team meeting and have them email me or call on the league line with their email address or telephone number.

Background Checks
Little League is requiring background checks on all volunteers associated with the league. Please fill out the volunteer application and bring it with you to uniform and equipment day. If we do not have this form you will not be able to pick up your uniforms and equipment. Any volunteer that has contact with the players more than 30% will have to have a background check. This will include your assistants most likely also.

Please contact your players
If you have not contacted your players yet, please do so. After January 31st registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis whether they are returning or not. All players received a registration in the mail with a deadline of January 31st. The general public registration will be distributed the week of February 7th.
